Fotis Papadopoulos is a UKCP-registered Family & Couple Systemic Psychotherapist, originally training at the Tavistock.
He has worked in generic NHS mental health services for children and adolescents as a highly specialist family and systemic psychotherapist, addressing issues such as: anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidality, step-family challenges, attachment difficulties, parenting, sibling relationships, life transitions, schooling, special needs impact on mental health, self-identity and self-esteem, amongst others.
Fotis has also worked in specialist (e.g. eating disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism) NHS mental health services, as well as the 3rd sector (couple therapy and family therapy with adults) and a private eating disorders hospital for children and adolescents.
He has a special interest in attachment processes, utilizing and having had training in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Fotis is additionally trained in Maudsley Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders.
Fotis works with individuals, couples and families.
